Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using iCareer Compass™. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.
By creating an account, accessing, or using iCareer Compass™ ("the Service", "Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these terms, you must immediately stop using the Service.
iCareer Compass™ is an AI-powered career navigation platform that provides:
- ATS Compass - Resume analysis and compatibility scoring
- Resume Compass - AI-powered resume optimization and building
- Application Compass - Cover letter and application material generation
- Interview Compass - AI interview practice and preparation
- Jobs Compass - Curated job board and search functionality
- Market Compass 360 - Career market insights and analytics
- Career resources, courses, and guidance tools
Important Disclaimer: Our services provide career guidance and job search assistance. We do not guarantee job placement, interview success, or specific career outcomes. Results depend on many factors including your qualifications, market conditions, and individual efforts.
Age Requirement: You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use or security breach.
Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate and current.
Plan Tiers
- Free Plan: Limited access with usage restrictions
- Pro Plan ($39.95/month): Enhanced limits and features
- Premium Plan ($79.95/month): Maximum limits, premium features, and bonus course
Billing Terms
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe
- Automatic renewal unless cancelled before the next billing cycle
- You authorize us to charge your payment method for all subscription fees
- Prices may change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers
- No refunds for partial months or unused features
Cancellation Policy
No Refunds: All subscription payments are non-refundable. Once charged, we do not issue refunds for any unused time or features.
How to Cancel: To cancel your subscription, use the billing management portal available from your Account page. Cancellations will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access until that date.
You agree NOT to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful materials
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract our proprietary AI algorithms
- Use the Service to create competing products or services
- Share your account credentials with others
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute our content without permission
- Overwhelm our systems with excessive automated requests
- Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
- Impersonate others or provide false information
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Violation of this policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.
Our Proprietary Rights
All content, features, functionality, and technology on the Platform are the exclusive property of iCareer Compass™ and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
This includes but is not limited to: iCareer Compass™ name and logo, ATS Compass™, Resume Compass™, Application Compass™, Interview Compass™, Jobs Compass™, Market Compass 360™, our AI algorithms, scoring methodologies, templates, and all software and technology.
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you upload (resumes, cover letters, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce, modify, and process your content solely to provide and improve our services.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you upload, and that such content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
AI-Generated Content
Content generated by our AI tools (optimized resumes, cover letters, etc.) is provided for your use in your job search. While you may use this content, we retain rights to the underlying AI models and methodologies. Generated content should be reviewed and customized by you before use.
No Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Career Outcomes: We do not guarantee that using our services will result in job offers, interviews, higher salaries, or specific career advancement. Success depends on numerous factors beyond our control.
AI Accuracy: While our AI technology is advanced, it may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate results. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before use.
Third-Party Services: We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or content of third-party job boards, courses, or external links.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ICAREER COMPASS™ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless iCareer Compass™, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of another party; or (d) your content.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe:
- Violates these Terms of Service or our policies
- Harms other users or third parties
- Exposes us to legal liability
- Is fraudulent or involves payment disputes
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may delete your account and content. Termination does not relieve you of any obligations incurred prior to termination.
Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your State/Country], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Arbitration Agreement: Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify.
Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes with us only on an individual basis, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative action or proceeding.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and iCareer Compass™ regarding the Service.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
